| So christmas was great!! The best gift i got was having my whole family home together!! i had so much fun with them and it was just...amazing=) peter, lisa's fiancee, came for christmas too. i don't mean to brag, but....we fit all 6 of us kids in that little photo thing at the mall...it was insane...but the picture is funny! and i thought it was hard to fit 3 in that thing...man!
The youth group at a new year's party at my house. it was good. it's cool to think how you spend your last couple moments in the new year worshipping God and then your first couple moments worshipping Him.
I start school tomorrow. i'm excited to start seeing my friends everyday again...but i'm not so excited about this whole homework thing. homework is the worst!! but i need to get started on all my homework that's due tomorrow.....like read a book and start a paper that's due friday...woo hoo!! it'll be party!

| So it's been a while.....and quite a bit has happened in the past couple weeks.
First off....i had a great thanksgiving weekend!! It was so good to get a couple days off from school and i am SO excited for our next break!!! i worked a lot of that weekend...but i still had time to hang out with people=) One night we played scattegories and omw...that was so much fun!! i don't think i had ever played that game before....i rocked at it...and i didn't even cheat like kelsey and tommy.....ok...well...maybe a little=)
Then last thursday i went to ethics day at bsc....not everyone had fun...but i did! There were about 26 tables with 6 students at each table. Every table had at least a couple deep thinkers it seemed.....except for mine! We'd supposed to be talking about this girl breaking up with her boyfriend and if she should go to this party where they'll be drugs.....but my group started talking about how we'd eat ice cream all night and getting brain-freezes (one girl said she gets heart freezes..lol...that's my group for ya) and then we talked about the kinds of ice cream we like.......so it was all really interesting....but in the end, it was a good day. It was stranged though, i actually missed going to school and seeing my friends!!
This past weekend wasn't too exciting....i went to the elementary program. there was a boy in the program who was in front of us and i really think he was ADD. it was so funny tho!! he kept falling over and doing the wrong actions and stuff....he definately kept us entertained!! i worked this weekend....so that was pretty boring. i went to the movie "pride and prejudice".....it was good!!! i had to go to the bathroom tho and i ended up missing the best part.....i guess i'll have to see it again!!

| so i went to five stones this past weekend....i had so much fun!! wow! i was planning on going to fargo to visit megan and i was gonna ride up with huwe, but then meg came home instead. i hung out with her for a bit on saturday.....it was good to see her!! i loved it! at five stones, i hung out with gabby, johnny, and jake and it was SO much fun!! those boys are so funny....let me tell ya what. i hadn't hung out with gabby for a while.....i loved every minute of it! i missed her so much! but anyways...i have to run. just thought i'd do a quick update on life. hope you all have a fabulous day!!

| i know, i know.....i should pay attention during class, but it's so unbelievably hard to pay attention in church history with gannon. my mind just wonders......so i decided to write down my thoughts yesterday (nov 3) and this is what i wrote:
It's strange to think how we're all on this journey of life, yet we all are on different paths. We have different friends at different times, but it's just our paths crossing at that time. After our paths cross, we continue on our own path...sometimes my heart aches as I watch my friend go down that path. Some friends feel they can't go forward in their path, so they go back to where they were...with the problems they had. Some people feel they can't handle this journey of life and decide to end it all. Sometimes we wish we could go back and change the choices we made...but if we hadn't made that choice, whether good or bad, we wouldn't be who we are today. A choice we make today, great or small, will effect us for the rest of our life. As we continue on our journey, we learn new things...wishing we knew it before. We can't go back with what we know now. If we knew before what we know now, our choices would have been different and would change everything. We have to make choices and keep going on our journey or we will just stay in the same spot...watching everyone move forward on this journey of life. Sometimes the path is rough as though we are walking on rocks. You feel you can't take it anymore, but we need to continue. you can't stop and sit on the rocks...that will get you nowhere. We have to continue on our journey of life. | | |
| wow!! i had like the most AMAZING weekend ever!! i can't even remember the last time that i had so much fun in a weekend! like...i've done fun stuff on the weekend, but this past weekend it was like all fun all the time!! i loved it!!
my dad was speaking at a campus crusade retreat in crystal springs. i knew megan and erik and other ppl were gonna be there...so i decided i was gonna go. i had sent meg a text telling her, but somehow she didn't get it. she was so surprised!!!!! i loved it=) i met this other girl named britta who is so adorable and so much fun!! i stayed the night at crystal springs and then left the next morning for bismarck.
i got to bismarck at 10ish and then met moriah and her family at the school at 10:30 to leave for williston. me and naomi rode along with her family. it was A LOT of fun...let me tell you!! so ya. we went to the shiloh vs williston football game. we won the middle school one and tied the high school one. i don't think i have ever watched a game so closely before. it was great!! but it was soooo unbelievably cold!! omw! after the game we went to pizza hut. it was great=) we left to go home about 9pm..........we had 4 hours to go. we were all really loopy at first...lol...it was SO funny. but then we all settled down and started texting ppl b/c we were bored...lol. we got to the school and me, naomi, and moriah waited for the football players to get back b/c moriah's brother was on it. the guys were so dead!! it was really funny trying to carry on a conversation with them b/c they were really slow and it almost seemed as tho they couldn't understand anything we were saying. me and naomi spent the night at moriah's house. we were all so exhausted!!
i went to my church the next morning. naomi and moriah were going to go to theirs, but they forgot to reset the alarm so they didn't wake up until 2pm....haha. me and moriah went to "elizabethtown" later that day. it was cute. on the way home, i randomly stopped at kmart and decided i was going to dye my hair. i was planning on getting to bed early that night since i had only gotten a couple hours of sleep the nights before. ya...that didn't happen. becca dyed my hair and then i never really got to bed till 11:30ish.
since i didn't get much sleep this weekend, i'm still really tired. i tried to take a nap after school, but i couldn't so i went on a walk instead. it was so beautiful out!! i love it!! fall is the best!!
omw!!! i forgot like the most exciting thing that happened this weekend................LISA GOT ENGAGED!!! i'm a bridesmaid...i'm so excited!! ya!!
